QCTools (Quality Control Tools for Video Preservation) is a free and open source software tool that helps users analyze and understand their digitized video files through use of audiovisual analytics and filtering. QCTools is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Knight Foundation, and developed by the Bay Area Video. QCTools is intended for analyzing video quality through filtering and audiovisual analytics. It is also useful for conversion programs and video codecs comparison. You will be able to analyze a video via multiple filters visually, which include Histogram, Waveform, Waveform Target, Line Select, Vectorscope, Vectorscope Target, Extract Planes. Our website does not support download accelerators because multiple connections are not allowed when downloading. Only the browser can be used to download files and any browser plugins dealing with downloads need to be disabled. QCTool permits import of data sets no matter what their size is. As of now, a number of formats are allowed: ASCII XYZ, binary XYZ, Geosoft GBN, Geosoft GDB, Scintrex CG3/CG5 Dump, SeaSpy and others designed to meet the specific requirements of various customers. The import procedure is fully automated and easy to manage.
