PhotoLinker

Fmoc-Photo-Linker is an Fmoc-amino photo-linker for the synthesis of peptide amides. Fmoc-Photo-Linker is usually cleaved under acidic conditions or using two-step procedures. Photocleavage of Fmoc-Photo-Linker proceeds under neutral conditions with UV light. Photocleavage of Fmoc-Photo-Linker can be performed using flow chemistry. Hydroxyethyl photolinker Novabiochem®. CAS 175281-76-2, molar mass 299.28 g/mol. Find MSDS or SDS, a COA, data sheets and more information. The BP moiety was then used as a photolinker to covalently attach the initiator to the polypropylene surface after spin coating. UV irradiation (365 nm) resulted in the attachment of the photolinker to the polypropylene backbone via hydrogen abstraction. PhotoLinker Whether your photos are geotagged using PhotoLinker or automatically geotagged using your camera, PhotoLinker lets you interact with and explore your photos on a number.

I have only started to use PhotoLinker to tag my photos. It uses industry standard IPTC tags to set metadata for photos (ie, what Adobe does). I am using it to both georeference photos, as well as to maintain metadata. For the georeferencing function, the user interface is clean and very easy to figure out. The issues of setting the camera's time zone, and any errors in the clock, are well thought out. The program uses Bing maps for georeferencing, which are a little slow and less useful than, say, Google Earth (which HoudahGeo uses). The details of metadata for photos are very complicated, and, while I have read about them extensively, While I do not purport to be an expert on xpm metadata, when I communicated with the author about some of his decisions, I found him open to suggestions and quite well informed. The program is being actively maintained, and a Lion (beta) version came out before the operating system was available. I am still using Snow Leopard, so I can't speak to Lion compatibility, but the message boards seem to indicate it is working well. While it is expensive for what it offers, it is very well designed. If you are just going to georeference images, there are cheaper programs. But if you want georeferencing, plus a clean way to maintain metadata for large numbers of files, this is your program.A

Our pro version, Photolinker, adds a metadata editor, interactive geotagging on a map, and a GPS track browser.

GPSPhotoLinker adds GPS position and location data to your photos. The latitude and longitude recorded by your GPS unit are linked and saved to your photos. GPSPhotoLinker automatically enters the city, state and country into the metadata. Adding geographic information to an item is known as geotagging -- check out our example mapped web galleries.

Why geotag?

PhotoLinker

Once you've geotagged your photos, you'll always know where you were when the photo was taken.

Photolinker

  • Check out our example mapped web galleries with Flickr, Picasa, Locr, and EveryTrail and learn the tricks for uploading your own geotagged photos.
  • Using Spotlight in Mac OS X 10.4 and higher, you can easily search on any of the metadata right in the Finder. If you search for 'Alaska,' all photos taken in Alaska will be found because of the location information saved to the photo.
  • Using Preview in Mac OS x 10.5 you can easily view the location of a photo with the Inspector (⌘-I) tool.
